Before venturing on my own with Oneslocar Web Design and partnering up with R.C. Williams, I worked as a web developer and social media manager for a great local company, 360Fuelcard. 360Fuelcard helps business with their fuel expenses by providing them with fuel cards that offer discounts, security and control over all their fuel purchases. 360 specializes in the ability to have a program for all businesses, from small companies with just a few vehicles to over the road trucking fleets fueling thousands of gallons every day. While working there, I was able to see firsthand how the companies benefitted from using their programs. Some companies would save thousands of dollars on their fuel bill, others were just starting out and looking to gain business credit. There’s just something about a business in the beginning stages that I love to see, and it was a great feeling knowing that 360 was able to be part of that.
When I started working with 360, they had outsourced their website to a couple different companies. These companies both did a great job at creating the look and feel that 360 wanted, however we wanted to take more control of the website so that we could change it whenever we wanted. I was hired as an inside web developer and I was also put in charge of developing a presence in social media. Since that point, 360 has several custom tabs on Facebook to help bring their message and offerings across there, as well as custom Twitter, LinkedIn, Google+ and YouTube pages. Although it is not necessary to have all the social media platforms going at the same time, it can benefit you by branding your company and staying ahead of the curve.
360 also benefits from guest blogging at Fleet Blogs and providing professional advice regarding vehicles and fleet maintenance.
